A fan took a picture of Martha at Cavendish Avenue! Aww, Martha, you’re a star was well.

Tom Murray: “This is one of my favourite pictures. It’s such a fabulous profile of Paul. We were sitting in the dome of his house in St John’s Wood. He’d locked all the others downstairs so we wouldn’t be disturbed. The photo had to be cropped slightly because it got damaged on one side.”
Tom might be misremembering there since that’s George’s hand behind Paul in the photo.

Tom Murray: “Paul was sat with his dog Martha in the dome in his back garden. When we pulled up outside his house there were seven or eight girls waiting by the door and when they saw all the boys turn up they went hysterical and started crying and screaming. Paul was the perfect host. He was very polite and made us a cup of tea and offered the biscuits around. He posed for this shot. It was just Paul, Ringo, the dog and myself in the room. All the others were in a different room and as the dog looked one way and Ringo the other, I snapped. I only took one or two frames. Why take ten when one will do?”

Reblogging myself because an Apple Scruff who was actually there that day has come forward with the story around this picture!
“John and Yoko pulled up and because we were all asking Paul to come out he was upset because of the bell being rung so much. When John and Yoko came Paul wouldn’t answer so John jumped the fence.”
Once he was in, he opened the door for Yoko.
Thought it might have been of interest to come other people here who were speculating. :)

Looks to have been taken the same day as they did their Our World balloon-fest! :) 24 June 1967

My love for these pictures cannot be expressed in words. I don’t even care that they’re blurry, there just aren’t enough pictures out there of the inside of Cavendish.

It’s John and Paul (and their Pepperstaches) in Paul’s living room in 1967. Note the alternate Sgt Pepper drumskin on the wall.

Stuff like this makes me happy.
