(Although, according to Bill Harry’s book, Rod Murray said “The guy on the floor who looks like John is either Rod Jones or Pete the Beat.” So John Lennon is NOT in this picture. Still nice, though.)
What remains of the agreement between Allan Williams and Bruno Koshmider for the Beatles to play at the Indra in 1960. Williams opened a bank account in St Pauli so that Koshmider could pay him his weekly commission.
The Beatles refuse to pay Allan Williams his 10% commission on their Top Ten Club gigs. Allan doesn’t take it well.
